For where your treasure is,

What are my treasures? Faith,
Family and Friends! I am truly rich and blessed because of these three
precious treasures in my life:
Faith - I came to know Jesus Christ
as my Lord and Savior in my early twenties and I have tried to live a life
completely surrendered to Him. I know there have been many times when I
have tried to take control, but I always realize my life is much better when I
live it completely surrendered to Him. I am so thankful that Jesus died
on the cross for my sins and offers each of us the free give of salvation!
Family - God has blessed me with a
Godly husband and three children who are all now married to amazing spouses who
have definitely become a part of our family. At this time, God has blessed us with four
grandchildren...all boys! Our fifth grandchild, another little boy, is
expected to arrive in August! I
love spending time with all of them, and when we are able to all get together, it's
absolutely crazy and fun! Each of
our children is unique and I love their different personalities! My four grandsons are all three years
and younger, so they definitely bring lots of joy to our family time. My family is definitely something I
cherish and treasure!
Friends - God has surrounded me with
many friends over the years! From the moment my husband and I asked Jesus
Christ into our hearts, God placed wonderful Christians into our lives to
encourage us in our walk with Him. Over the years, many of those
friendships have continued even though we may not still live in the same area!
And currently, God has blessed us with other couples whom we share
lunches, dinners, birthday, holidays...just times of celebration! Our pastor
often says..."We are blessed to do life together"...and I couldn't
agree with him more.
Faith, Family and Friends...these are
the greatest treasures in my life!
