God is Faithful!

He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he…Deuteronomy 32:4.

Recently, I shared that my children had come to me with different prayer requests, asking that my husband and I would join them in prayer.

We have faithfully been praying for those different requests, trusting and believing that God would move in a mighty and powerful way in each situation.

One prayer request has been recently answered.  My daughter and her family have just moved back to the area and we are rejoicing as they are closer to family and friends after being away this past year!

We saw God’s fingerprints in their situation numerous times as He not only brought a buyer for their home immediately, but he also allowed them to find another home…in the area they were hoping to live…and working out the details for them to purchase that new home!

We spent yesterday unloading the moving vans and getting them settled into their new home!  The sun was shining and it was a perfect day for a move!

However, my oldest son called me during the day and shared that the specific prayer request that we had been praying for them did not turn out how we had hoped!  My heart sank as he shared this information, knowing that this news was extremely difficult for my son, his wife and their three-year old son who had also been praying!

I immediately lifted him and his precious wife up in prayer…still trusting and believing that God has a wonderful plan for their young lives and this prayer will be answered…in His timing!

Needless to say, they continue to be on my hearts today as we all continue to pray…trusting and believing that God’s fingerprints are and will continue to be on this situation as well.

This morning, my daughter-in-law sent her mother and me a text.  She shared link to a YouTube Video, which were the Lyrics for the song Faithful by Hawk Nelson.  (I have shared the link below)

The lyrics just spoke to my heart and I know they were speaking to my precious daughter-in-law and her dear mama too!

It was a gentle reminder that God is faithful!  He didn’t promise us that it would be easy, and if we are completely honest, sometimes it is just plain hard.

However, HE did promise that He would be with us always!  He is the one we are choosing to cling to this morning…and each and every morning!  And though we may not completely understand this situation, we are going to trust Him.

Deuteronomy 32:4 says… He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.

God is my rock.  His works…His ways…His timing…are perfect!  He does no wrong…He is faithful!

Dear Heavenly Father…thank you for your faithfulness!  Thank you that we can cling to you when our hearts are hurting.  And when we are living in the moment of hurt and pain…you are our shelter when we have nowhere else to go.  You are our rock…you are faithful
